Five Built-in Miroir Mini Pools Overlooking Lake Maggiore, Canton Ticino
In the heart of the prestigious Ticino region, overlooking the Swiss side of Lake Maggiore, Habitat Lago Maggiore comes to life — a residential project where architecture and nature coexist in perfect harmony. Within this setting, H2OStyle supplied and installed five built-in Miroir Small mini pools, conceived as integrated architectural elements designed to enhance the direct connection between living spaces and the surrounding landscape.
The mini pools, positioned on the private terraces and gardens of the residences, open directly onto panoramic lake views, framing the serene luminosity of Lake Maggiore. With their compact footprint (2×2 metres), the Miroir Small models offer a refined response to the desire for personal relaxation—without compromise on design, technology, or material quality.
The beige nautical eco-leather cladding was selected to echo the warm, natural tones of the timber façades and architectural detailing. This considered palette reinforces the dialogue between built form and landscape, between visual coherence and functional intent. Stainless steel, the defining material of the Miroir range, introduces a contemporary and understated contrast, shaping a pool with a distinctly architectural presence and superior technical performance.
The stainless steel shell ensures long-term durability, exceptional hygiene, and minimal maintenance, thanks to its smooth, non-porous surfaces that inhibit bacterial and fungal growth. Increasingly embraced in the wellness and hospitality sectors, this technology proves equally well-suited to high-end residential environments—where both perceived and tangible quality are essential to the living experience.
Here, the hydrotherapy pool is not an accessory but an architectural element in its own right: a private sanctuary for wellbeing that engages with its natural setting, enhances the spatial narrative, and offers residents an everyday moment of regeneration, framed by one of the most evocative views in the Swiss landscape.

“Everything began with an idea: to enhance the landscape, to welcome guests into nature in a new way, and to share it personally with the people I love most, in the places where I grew up. That’s how Habitat took shape.”
— Elia Frapolli, creator and first resident of Habitat Lago Maggiore
Production
Phase 1
The entire pool and its frame are made of AISI 316L steel with professionalism and precision, with comfortable internal radii and a focus on high quality aesthetic finish.
Phase 2
The construction of the tubular, self-supporting structure adopts a modularity approach, enabling rapid and safe product development.
Phase 3
The steel accessories provided, such as vents and spotlights, are pre-assembled in the workshop, combining production quality and innovative design.
Phase 4
Once the construction of the pool is complete, it is tested to ensure that functionality, style and safety are combined to perfection.
Pre-assembled options
Pool elements such as ladders, loungers, whirlpools and fountains are prefabricated and assembled into a single self-supporting structure before being delivered to the installation site.
Structure with adjustable feet
The self-supporting tubular structure, equipped with adjustable feet, is a state-of-the-art feature that allows rapid installation while ensuring maximum adaptability to the available space.
Transport
H2OStyle pools leave production ready to be transported and directly installed at the place of destination.
On-site assembly
Pools that are too large for transportation are delivered in sections and are assembled by laser welding directly on site for fast and precise installation.
Speed of assembly
Due to their construction characteristics, H2OStyle steel pools allow for high assembly speed.
Testing
After installation, testing is the final step, verifying functionality to guarantee a durable and quality product.
